Before setting their feet on the land of China or even Tianjin, the mainstream media friends were wondering how the status of Tianjin enterprises’ development under the “B&R” strategy is and what the role of this port and pioneer city of opening-up is. Up to this April, over 1800 Tianjin enterprises have gone abroad. The interview team has already got the answer to their questions from yesterday’s interview of two enterprises.

Sino-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone is known as the A-list project of China’s overseas economic and trade cooperation zones. The phase I of the zone has already taken effect from its foundation of 10 years ago to now. Nearly 70 enterprises were attracted to join in and it has introduced many large projects like Jushi Group, Mu Yang Group and XD Group. Its total investment stood at 1 billion US$ and has paid taxes of 780 million Egyptian pound to the Egypt government, creating 2000 jobs for the local people. Apparently “TEDA Mode”(ecological mode) originating from Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area is extremely successful in Egypt. The head of Tianjin TEDA Holding related that, “with the proceeding of the “B&R” Strategy, “TEDA Mode” has attracted lots of attentions from many countries and corporations. This mode has been applied in Mombasa Cooperation Zone and Djibouti Cooperation Zone in Kenya.” The International Cooperation Center of NDRC is actively promoting the “TEDA Mode” so as to facilitate an efficient construction of zones overseas.
